SONG PLACEMENT IN MTVS "NEWPORT BEACH" FORMERLY CALLED "LAGUNA BEACH"- Tune into MTV's show Newport Beach on Wed Sept 12th and you will hear my song "She Isn't Like Me" played at some point on the show. The song is off my full length album "Dreams in Cold Weather" available for sale on itunes. SONG PLACEMENT IN A FEATURE FILM STARING THORA BIRCH - I’m SO happy to announce that “December” a song from my full length album “Dreams in Cold Weather” has been selected for licensing placement in a Feature film called “Winter of Frozen Dreams” staring Thora Birch (you might remember her from “American Beauty”) The film should be released in 2008, I’ll write more information when I know more : )
COMPILATION CDS RELEASED TO RADIO STATIONS IN EUROPE - Last week my song “Does it Really Matter” was placed on 2 Radio Express compilation CDs sent out to radio stations all over Europe. Mark the Shark from Radio Express is doing his best to make me huge in Europe : ) (Thanks Mark!!!!) It’s exciting to know that people all over Europe are going to hear another one of my songs, the last time I was placed on a Radio Express compilation CD I ended up spending 9 weeks on the Top 40 charts in Turkey. The radio stations will begin playing music from the discs on around August 4th, if you live in Europe please help me out by calling the radio stations in your town after that date to request my song.
ANOTHER SONG ON MTV's THE REAL WORLD DENVER - MTV played another one of my songs on The Real World Denver. In Episode 23 my song "If I Had Known" was played as background music right after Brooke and Davis had a talk at the bar, "What do you want me to say now, i can't breathe" are the lyrics, if you listen as Brooke walks home crying, you can hear me in the background.
MTV's THE REAL WORLD DENVER - those of you who watch MTV's The Real World Denver might have heard some familiar music in the background during the episode titled "Broken Trust" my song "From Me To You" was played as background music in that episode.

CAPITAL RADIO TOP 40 CHARTS This is random, but really cool : ) I spent 9 weeks on the Top 40 Charts on Capital Radio (one of the two largest radio stations in Turkey) Capital Radio has been playing my song "The Good Life" for the past couple of months, click here to check out the charts if you click on "Muzik" Then click on "Hot 40 Countdown" you can see that I was in the Hot 40 countdown from weeks 21-29, I stayed at #23 for most of those weeks. I was the only Independent Artist on the charts. RADIO ODTU 103.1 TOP 40 CHARTS Radio ODTU, one of the largest College Radio Stations in Turkey, has also been playing "The Good Life" the song has been in their Top 40 charts for the past couple of months as well, and got as high as #4 : ) I've fallen to #16 this week, but I'm hanging in there! click here to check out the charts

midnight trying to get more footage for the music video. I managed to successfully
drive a car, on a windy road, while singing “Baby I Hope You’re Wrong” without
killing all of us… it was really fun. and i'm one tired puppy : ) We have one more

94.9FM THE LOCAL MEMBER OF THE DAY 94.9FM & DJ Anya Marina named me "The Local 94.9 Member of the Day" on Thursday Night. The Local 94.9 member of the day is always a local musician who gets put on the regular playlist for the night. Anya Marina played my song "Does it Really Matter" and said all sorts of nice stuff about me. What a cool gal she is, so supportive of the local music scene. INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION - SECOND ROUND "Does it Really Matter" was entered into the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the "Pop/Top 40" category and has advanced to the second round of judging. (Whoo hooo!) By the end of January 2006 the ISC will choose the finalists, stay tuned and keep your fingers crossed please!

FOX ROX SHOW AT QUALCOMM STADIUM WITH PARKER THEORY Jesse and I played an acoustic set at Qualcomm Stadium on the Fox Rox stage on Saturday Oct 29th as the opening act for Parker Theory. This is a new series of concerts put on by Fox channel 6's Fox Rox music show, hosted by Troy Johnson, where local bands play pre-game concerts prior to the SDSU Aztec football games. It was a fun show and I'm glad that we got to play it.
